My dear yesterday (Not available)
My dear yesterday
(2024)
Media: Acrylic, oil pastels, graphite and pencils on canvas, framed in American Ash
Dimension: 33cm x 43cm
Artist Statement
Thousands of letters to myself that are full of curiosity and answers. "My Dear Yesterday" portrays the spiritual reward for every endeavour and difficulties through every curve of life. Nothing is holding me back. I can sense myself more deeper and understand things more clearly when I no longer understand every single thing I do or know. The fresh energy remains. After all, I am grateful and thankful to all burdens I have encountered. Above all else, there are accomplishments everywhere for those who want to see them. Likewise, the result is more important than it seems. This work penetrates the overall life of yesterday in general through the abstract forms of unidentified shapes and lines in multiple layering techniques.
Note:
This work will be joining at "Hue & Cry Art Prize", group exhibition at Hue & Cry Gallery, Geelong
Date: 31 August - 21 September 2024
